As a Data/ Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to extract valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. Experience: 5+ years as a Project, Data, or Business Analyst
Qualification: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Preparation:
- Gather and collect data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Cleanse, transform, and format data for consistency and usability.
- Develop processes for data acquisition and quality assurance.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Apply statistical techniques to explore and interpret large datasets.
- Identify trends and patterns to uncover valuable insights.
- Perform advanced analytics such as predictive modeling and segmentation.
Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Create visually engaging reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Communicate complex data findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Develop interactive visualizations for data exploration.
Business Intelligence and Decision Support:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor KPIs and offer insights to drive improvements.
Data Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish frameworks for data governance and best practices.
- Document data processes and procedures thoroughly.
- Travel to project sites for data collection and management, if required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Project, Data, or Business Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience with forestry, agriculture, or horticulture data analysis and preparation techniques.
Key Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to present complex data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data governance, quality management, and machine learning concepts is a plus.
