About The Role
The M&E Intern will support the Monitoring and Evaluation team in tracking and reporting on the impact of various programs. This internship offers a hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting within the organisation. The intern will work closely with the M&E Manager/Specialist to ensure data is collected systematically and used for decision-making.
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Preferred) / Remote acceptable
- Duration: 6 months
- Time Commitment: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection: Assist in designing tools, conducting surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gather information.
- Data Entry and Management: Input data into the M&E database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Data Analysis: Support the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to measure program outcomes.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing M&E reports, including visualisations and case studies.
- Monitoring: Participate in field visits to monitor program implementation and collect data.
- Documentation: Help maintain M&E documentation, including tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
Skills:
- Experience with data analysis tools like R, Jamovi, SQL, and Python.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Slides).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Experience:
- Previous experience in M&E, research, or related fields is an advantage but not required.
Personal Attributes:
- Eager to learn new tools and take initiative.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
