About the Role
Position: MIS Specialist
Location: Vijayawada
Reporting to: Project Coordinator
Experience: 2 to 5 years
Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹20,000 per month
Language: English, Telugu (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
Data Management and Analysis
- Collect, process, and analyse data to support organizational decision-making.
- Develop and maintain databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
System Development and Maintenance
- Design, implement, and maintain MIS infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MIS-related software and hardware issues.
Training and Support
- Develop user manuals and training materials.
- Assist staff in understanding and using data for program planning and evaluation.
Data Security and Compliance
- Implement and monitor data security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and conduct regular data audits.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work with program managers, field staff, and other departments to meet their data needs.
- Communicate data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in MIS, data management, or a related role, preferably in a non-profit organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau), and MIS software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with complex data sets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Telugu, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data management and reporting.
