About the Role

As a Senior Manager - Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), you will lead the design, implementation, and management of M&E frameworks. This includes managing some programs independently, collaborating with program teams to define impact metrics, and ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Key Responsibilities

M&E Framework Design

Develop and refine M&E frameworks, including key indicators, data collection methods, and reporting mechanisms.

Data Collection & Management

Build and oversee data collection tools.
Ensure accurate and timely collection, entry, and management of data.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Draw actionable insights to guide decision-making.

Field Visits

Visit program sites to collaborate with field teams, validate data, and improve M&E processes.

Stakeholder Engagement

Communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to strategy development and programmatic decisions.

Learning & Improvement

Identify lessons learned and best practices.
Lead workshops to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure all M&E activities comply with organisational standards, donor requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

Education

Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Management, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

Skills

Extensive experience with M&E frameworks and methodologies.
Livelihoods or rural development experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel (essential); experience with R, SQL, Python, or other tools is an advantage.
Familiarity with Kobo Toolbox or other data collection tools.
Expertise in data visualisation tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, etc.
Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.

Experience

At least 8 years of experience in M&E, including leadership in large-scale programs.
Experience in livelihoods programs is an advantage.
Proven ability to manage data-driven projects and work with diverse stakeholders (e.g., donors, government agencies, community organisations).
