WASSAN(Watershed Support Services and Activities Network) is a development organization working towards improving the livelihoods of rural communities through various projects. It engages actively in policy advocacy initiatives at state and national level mainly related to rainfed agriculture. It also provides field level support services to a large number of watershed development and other programs implemented by the civil society in partnership with communities.

About the Role

Position: Program Associate (MIS Coordinator)
Reporting to: Program Officer
Contract Period: 1 Year (with a 3-month probation), renewable based on performance and project extension
Location: Seethampeta, Manyam District, Andhra Pradesh

This role involves managing the data collection, validation, and reporting processes for WASSAN's project in the Manyam District. You will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate data is submitted on time to the central team, which will help in making informed decisions.

Desired Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's in Computer Science/B.Tech (Computer Science)/MCA/BCA or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in data visualization tools and Excel is preferred.
  3. Previous experience in development programs is preferred.
  4. Familiarity with databases and performance tuning.
  5. Willingness to work in Seethampeta, with occasional travel.
  6. Energetic and willing to work extra hours, including on holidays.
  7. Good report writing skills in both English and Telugu.
  8. 1-2 years of experience in data cleaning and preparing MIS formats.
  9. No complaints against the individual by Government, Civil Society, or other organizations.

Remuneration

Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
