Role
Lead the daily management and implementation of the Kaval Plus - CSA project in Pathanamthitta to ensure vulnerable children receive essential psychosocial care and support services.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the CSA project and lead the local team.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of case workers through routine reviews.
- Visit the homes of survivors to ensure effective service delivery.
- Facilitate life-skills education and group work sessions for survivors and their parents.
- Provide direct psychosocial care and support services to families in the program.
- Network with government departments, agencies, and other NGOs to build support links.
- Prepare monthly action plans and concise progress reports.
- Draft detailed narrative reports and annual project completion documents.
- Finalize field reports, case histories, and studies for various state monitoring cells.
- Report directly to the Senior Programme Coordinator regarding project milestones.
Requirements
- Educational qualification of MSW (Except HRM; preferably Medical & Psychiatric Social Work).
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience specifically within the child protection sector.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in both Malayalam and English.
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities to manage complex project tasks.
- A genuine willingness and aptitude for working with vulnerable children.
- Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid riding license is preferred.
