The organization focuses on a variety of services aimed at community development, including Mobile Medical Services, Vocational Courses, Livelihood and Skill Development Training, Organic Farming and Marketing, Micro-Financing, and support for physically challenged and needy individuals. SCODWES also promotes artisanship and craftsmanship to support local talent.
About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sirsi, Uttarakannada, Karnataka. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for handling SCODWES' social media presence by developing effective strategies and communicating with the online audience.

Responsibilities
- Manage and execute social media marketing strategies.
- Develop and optimize content strategies across various social media platforms.
- Engage with the online community and respond to comments and messages.
- Write compelling and engaging content to promote SCODWES’ activities.
- Use social media analytics tools to monitor performance and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with the team to align social media efforts with the organisation's goals.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in content strategy and writing.
- Experience in managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
- A team player with collaborative skills.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
