About the Role
Position: Specialist - Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)
Division: Biodiversity Conservation
Location: New Delhi
As a Specialist in M&E, you will be responsible for strengthening and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks across various biodiversity conservation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to WWF-India’s mission by ensuring impactful and adaptive programme management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen M&E procedures consistent with WWF-India’s framework.
- Conduct regular M&E of projects using efficient and time-saving tools.
- Monitor data inputs and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support adaptive management.
- Develop monitoring and impact indicators to measure project success.
- Support landscape teams in compiling data on progress, outcomes, and impacts.
- Prepare technical reports for WWF-India, donors, and partners.
- Coordinate M&E framework development for new concepts and proposals.
- Build capacity by creating an M&E resource ecosystem and training teams in new technologies and methodologies.
- Collaborate with donors and partners to ensure programme success.
- Analyse spending patterns and provide inputs for budgeting and proposal development.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science, B. Tech, M. Tech, or M. Sc.
- Preferred institutions include TISS or IIFM.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation.
Remuneration
The salary will align with Indian NGO pay scales, based on experience and the WWF-India salary structure. Note: WWF-India does not provide housing, telephone, or vehicle facilities.
