About the Role
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
The M&E Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and management of monitoring and evaluation frameworks across various programs. This role requires close collaboration with program teams, focusing on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- M&E Framework Design: Lead the creation and refinement of M&E frameworks, defining key indicators, data collection methods, and reporting mechanisms.
- Data Collection & Management: Oversee the design of data collection tools, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and management.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses using tools such as R, Jamovi, SQL, and Python, ensuring reproducibility and adherence to data science best practices.
- Field Visits: Visit program sites to observe implementations and gather insights for improving M&E processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate findings and inform strategic decisions.
- Learning & Improvement: Lead workshops and presentations to foster continuous learning and a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure M&E activities meet organisational standards and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in M&E methodologies.
- Strong expertise in R, Jamovi, SQL, Python, and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in M&E, leading large-scale programs.
- Experience with rural programs is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage data-driven projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
