Sunaayy Foundation began with a simple belief: every child deserves an education, and every woman deserves the opportunity to shape her own future. Founded in 2009 with just a handful of children learning under a tree, it has since grown into a movement that transforms lives through education, nourishment, and skill-building. We empower women to gain financial independence and provide children aged 3 to 17 with the foundational skills needed to access mainstream education. Sunaayy is building both a local and global network of volunteers committed to bridging educational gaps, fostering self- reliance, and driving lasting impact.
Role
A dual-purpose role focused on maintaining transparent financial records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our community office.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Tally accounting software.
- Handle internal and external audits independently to ensure transparency.
- Manage statutory compliances including PF, ESI, and GST filings.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and data sheets using MS Excel.
- Oversee record-keeping for donor contributions and organizational expenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Tally and advanced MS Excel.
- Sound knowledge of Indian statutory and tax compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
