About
The Antara Foundation
The Antara Foundation is one of India's leading public health non-profit organisations dedicated to improving maternal and child health outcomes. Founded in 2014 by Ashok Alexander, the organisation partners with governments and communities to strengthen public health systems and deliver scalable solutions that improve healthcare for mothers and children, particularly in underserved regions.
The foundation combines data, technology, frontline health worker capacity building, and government partnerships to improve the quality of care at the last mile. Working across some of India's most challenging geographies, The Antara Foundation focuses on strengthening existing public health systems rather than creating parallel service delivery models.
