PG Diploma in Teaching Children with Learning Disabilities at Azim Premji University
About the Programme
The PG Diploma in Teaching Children with Learning Disabilities is a 12-month, part-time programme for teachers and school staff who want to better support the 5 to 15 percent of children in Indian classrooms who have a learning disability. Even though policy says every child belongs in the regular school system, poor awareness and weak implementation often push these children out of school. The programme prepares teachers to understand these conditions, adapt what and how they teach, and help children become confident, independent learners, while also building skills to support other teachers in creating more inclusive schools.
