Role

In this role you will work with 1 or more NGOs at a given point of time (cost and time-sharing basis) in the capacity of CxO (x is a combination of Tech, Data and Tech Strategy). We are open to full-time, part-time and consulting modes of engagement.

Responsibilities

Improve NGO processes to build better operational efficiency, effectiveness, and decision-making.
Design and execute the tech and data strategy and roadmap for partner NGOs.
Oversee the design and delivery of software development projects.
Lead and inspire teams to spot business needs, process gaps, and ways to use technology to fix them.
Build the internal team's capacity on tech tools and good practices.
Identify, build, and manage relationships with partners who can deploy the tech and applications NGOs need.

Requirements

An engineering degree with at least 12 years of experience in technology.
Principal Engineer or Architect experience is a plus.
Prior experience working or volunteering in the social sector is important.
Strong tech and data strategy skills, with the ability to lead software delivery from end to end.
Ability to coach internal NGO teams on technology and process change.
Comfort working across multiple organisations at the same time.
Open to corporate sector candidates, who will first take a short volunteering assignment to ensure social sector fit.
