Goalkeep
Goalkeep is a data consulting organisation that works with nonprofits and social sector organisations to help them harness the power of data for decision-making and impact communication. At Goalkeep, they tackle key data challenges by connecting three worlds: Technology, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Learning and Development. The organisation was founded by Manije Kelkar (Founder and Director), and is co-directed by Swapneel Rane (Director). Their core philosophy is to make data accessible, meaningful, and actionable for organisations that are often resource-constrained and lack dedicated data teams. Goalkeep positions itself as an extended data team for its clients, co-designing solutions rather than imposing off-the-shelf products.
Goalkeep operates at the intersection of three domains:
- Technology – Aligning data systems and tools with an organisation's strategy
- Monitoring and Evaluation (MEL) – Enabling outcome measurement and evidence-based insights
- Learning and Development – Fostering behavioural change and adoption of data practices within teams

Major Projects and Initiatives
- Data Literacy Program (DLP) A cohort-based Train the Trainer programme that aims to build data literacy skills within teams and individuals at NGOs. This initiative focuses on creating internal champions within organisations who can then spread data literacy practices across their teams.
- Jai Vakeel Foundation (JVF) Retainer Project A notable long-term engagement with Jai Vakeel Foundation, one of India's oldest and largest nonprofits serving children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Goalkeep built dashboards that empowered the JVF team to make more effective, data-driven decisions with results highlighted directly by the Foundation's Senior Manager.
- Data Culture Quiz A quick self-assessment tool for organisations to reflect on how they use data and identify ways to strengthen their data culture. This is a freely accessible tool that helps organisations benchmark themselves before engaging with Goalkeep's services.
