About the Role
Responsibilities
Design and Production:
- Create and design print and digital materials, including reports, infographics, social media content, presentations, and promotional assets.
- Ensure all materials align with SPRF’s branding and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Manage multiple design projects from start to finish while ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the communications team to create engaging visual content.
- Translate complex data into visually appealing and easy-to-understand graphics.
- Assist with multimedia content creation like videos and animations.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with researchers and policy analysts to understand their design needs.
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure quality print production.
- Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions.
Quality Control and Updates:
- Review designs for errors before publishing or printing.
- Keep updated with graphic design trends and continuously improve design assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design, preferably in the non-profit or policy sector.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work.
- Attention to detail, aesthetic sense, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of social policy or advocacy trends is an advantage.
