Teach For India’s journey, now in its fourth phase, focuses on leadership development and educational transformation. Through its Fellowship programs, the organisation seeks to create 50,000 leaders over the next decade who will impact the education system and low-income children’s lives across India.

Team Overview
The National Communications team is responsible for managing and promoting the Teach For India brand. This includes handling marketing, events, public relations, and design, as well as ensuring the brand’s message reaches the public authentically. The Design Intern will be part of this dynamic team, contributing to design strategies that tell the story of Teach For India’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Design digital and print creatives for Teach For India.
- Develop a unique design language and templates for different platforms, adhering to the brand manual.
- Use visuals effectively for storytelling and communication.
- Ensure all designs are aligned with the creative vision across online and offline communications.
- Assist with conceptualizing, directing, and executing design projects.
- Stay aware of design trends and customer behaviour to enhance engagement.
- Translate content into compelling visuals.
- Understand print and vendor management processes.
- Create awareness and provide training on brand guidelines for staff and fellows.
- Manage the organisation’s Brand Library.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently studying Communication Design with a focus on social impact.
- Strong design skills for both online and offline platforms.
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; basic knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro is desirable.
- Good understanding of typography, editorial design, and design principles for social media.
- Knowledge of mobile design, responsive layouts, and fonts for digital platforms.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
