T4G Impact Tech Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that uses technology to support social impact work. It runs its operations from offices in Bangalore and Cochin. The team keeps its finance and compliance work in-house so that funds are tracked carefully and records stay clean. This role sits within T4G's finance function, which handles daily book-keeping, payments, reconciliations and asset records for the organisation.

Role

T4G Impact Tech Foundation is engaging an Accounts Executive on a contractual basis to support day-to-day finance and accounting work at its Cochin office. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will keep the books accurate in Tally and Zoho Books, process transactions, complete reconciliations, and maintain proper records of inventory and fixed assets. Zoho Books is central to this role, so you will need a proven and verifiable track record of using it hands-on in daily accounting work.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day accounting entries accurately in Tally and Zoho Books.
• Prepare sales invoices, book purchase bills and process the related payments.
• Prepare payment vouchers along with supporting documentation.
• Manage petty cash, keeping proper records and reconciling it periodically.
• Extract and process Razorpay reports and reconcile them against the books of account.
• Carry out regular bank, vendor and ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain inventory records and handle inventory management activities.
• Track and maintain a register of fixed assets.
• Support GST-related compliance and documentation as required.
• Assist the Head of Finance with month-end closing and other finance tasks as they come up.

Requirements

• B. Com or M. Com.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounts.
• Mandatory: minimum 3 years of proven, hands-on experience specifically in Zoho Books, used for day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing and reconciliation. General familiarity with Zoho Books is not enough, and you must be able to demonstrate a verifiable track record.
• Hands-on working knowledge of Tally.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to extract and reconcile Razorpay reports.
• Experience with inventory management and asset tracking.
• Comfort with accounting entries, sales invoice preparation, purchase bill booking and payment processing.
• Experience preparing vouchers and completing account reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of GST is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Malayalam and English, spoken and written.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
• Willingness to work from the Cochin office, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday with a half day on Saturday, which is 5.5 days a week.
