Role

As the Assistant Manager – Finance (Procurement), you will oversee procurement processes, vendor management, financial compliance, and procurement documentation while ensuring adherence to organisational policies and statutory regulations. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and auditors to maintain transparent and compliant procurement operations.

Responsibilities

  • Review quotation requests, comparative quotations, and conduct competitive analysis.
  • Verify vendor documentation, compliance records, and statutory requirements.
  • Evaluate procurement recommendations and support approval processes.
  • Assist in vendor negotiations and procurement discussions.
  • Prepare purchase orders, work orders, and vendor agreements.
  • Maintain vendor empanelment records and procurement databases.
  • Coordinate internal, donor, and statutory audits.
  • Prepare financial and procurement documentation for audits.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and finance policies.

Requirements

  • Graduate or postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Income Tax provisions, statutory regulations, and compliance requirements for trusts.
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience in the social sector is an advantage.
