Associate - Founder's Office in Maharashtra & Chhattisgarh | Open Links Foundation
Open Links Foundation (OLF)
Open Links Foundation works with government systems to improve the quality of teaching and learning in public schools, at a scale that reaches whole states. It uses technology and behavioural science to help officials, schools and teachers do their work better, rather than running a parallel system of its own. Its work currently touches more than 68,000 schools, 230,000 teachers and 48 lakh children across many districts. Because the work sits inside government, small improvements in how things run reach a very large number of classrooms. This role sits within OLF's Founder's Office, which takes on the hardest cross-team problems and makes sure decisions turn into action on the ground.
Role
The Associate takes on short, high-stakes assignments of three to six months across head office and field teams, finds out why something is not working, and fixes it from start to finish. The work moves between building better systems, cutting out manual effort, and holding teams to a clear review rhythm so that programmes stay on track. Every few months the Associate joins a new team, learns its work quickly, and leaves it running better than before.
Responsibilities
- Lead 3-6 month assignments across head office and field teams.
- Diagnose process gaps and execute improvements end-to-end.
- Build systems to reduce manual work and consolidate tools.
- Drive program governance through structured review discipline.
- Coordinate cross-functionally for decision execution.
- Produce documentation, dashboards, and reporting structures.
Requirements
- Graduate or Postgraduate from a top-tier institution with a strong academic record.
- 2-4 years of experience in execution-heavy roles (operations, consulting, ed-tech, startups, social impact, or similar).
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Comfortable making judgement calls under pressure without waiting for permission.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and embed into a new team every 3–6 months.
Benefits
- Direct exposure to the founder and to how a large education programme is run.
- Work that reaches government schools, teachers and children at state scale.
- Wide variety of problems, with a new team and a new challenge every few months.
- A role with real ownership, where you decide and act rather than wait.
