Ambuja Foundation is the CSR arm of Ambuja Cements, working across rural India on skill development, education, health, water and livelihoods to build self-reliant communities.

Role

The Community Mobilizer will identify, counsel, and motivate eligible youth and their families to join skill development programmes, building strong ties with local communities and institutions to support successful enrolment and training completion.

Responsibilities

• Identify, counsel, and motivate eligible youth and their families to enroll in skill development programmes through village visits, awareness camps, and community meetings.
• Build effective relationships with Panchayats, SHGs, schools, local leaders, government departments, and community stakeholders.
• Prepare mobilisation plans, achieve enrolment targets within timelines, and ensure optimum batch strength through systematic follow up.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, verify documents, and ensure timely data entry in the SEDI Portal in line with reporting requirements.
• Work with trainers, placement teams, and project staff to improve candidate retention, resolve mobilisation challenges, and support successful training and placement.

Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Social Work or any relevant field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with community stakeholders.
• Ability to plan mobilisation activities and meet enrolment targets.
• Comfortable maintaining records and entering data accurately on digital portals.
• Ability to work well with trainers and placement teams as part of a larger project.
