Pratham is one of India's largest education NGOs, with 30 years of work spanning early childhood education, elementary learning, girls and women's education, and youth skilling. It reaches over 6 million children and youth each year across 25 states and union territories, working directly in communities and alongside state and district governments. This role sits within Pratham's PraDigi Innovation Center, which builds technology based learning solutions to strengthen foundational mathematics for children aged 10 and above in rural and semi-urban areas, combining online and offline learning to help students build confidence and problem solving skills.

Role

A content development role to design and manage engaging, curriculum aligned mathematics learning resources for middle school students, using both digital and blended learning approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mathematics content for middle school learners, including lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and intervention programs
• Write clear and engaging scripts for mathematics learning videos and other multimedia resources
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to review and refine content for quality and learner engagement
• Research and improve content based on learner feedback and classroom observations
• Design and deliver training modules and workshops on mathematics content for educators and content developers
• Work directly with middle school students to pilot and evaluate content
• Conduct field visits to schools to monitor how well the content is working
• Analyze learner performance and feedback to identify learning gaps and recommend improvements
• Prepare reports and documentation on program progress and impact
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, implementation partners, trainers, and schools for smooth program delivery

Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field, technology background preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in the private sector, NGOs, or foundations
• Strong foundation in mathematics with proficiency in English, Hindi, or other regional languages
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Self motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable with presentation, documentation, and spreadsheet tools, along with content tools like Canva
• Familiar with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
