CURE International India Trust

CURE India works so that children born with birth defects and children with developmental delays get the care they need early in life. It partners with Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), the government's child health screening programme, to find these children in villages and communities and connect them to treatment, rehabilitation and education. Frontline workers like ASHAs and Anganwadi workers identify children, and CURE India helps make sure those children are not lost between identification and care. The work covers all 36 districts of Maharashtra. This role sits within the RBSK and CURE India partnership team in Maharashtra, which tracks every identified child from enrollment through to treatment and follow-up. 11-Post_-5-Nov_1.jpg

Role

The Enrollment Coordinator is the person who makes sure a child identified in a village actually reaches treatment. Working from the RBSK office in Pune alongside the RBSK Manager, you will stay in daily contact with district coordinators and frontline workers across Maharashtra, keep the enrollment data accurate and current, and chase down the delays that keep a child waiting. It is a role for someone who is organised, careful with records, and moved by the idea that a parent should be guided to help their child get care as early as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the RBSK Manager in Pune and with district coordinators across all 36 districts of Maharashtra.
  • Collect and update child identification and enrollment data from the districts every day.
  • Work with ASHAs, Anganwadi workers and RBSK teams so that identified children are enrolled without delay.
  • Track each enrolled child to confirm treatment has started and follow-up is happening.
  • Spot delays or gaps in enrollment and treatment and work with the concerned teams to resolve them quickly.
  • Maintain accurate digital records and keep the central database up to date.
  • Prepare daily and weekly data summaries for the programme team.
  • Prepare a monthly consolidated report for RBSK leadership and senior government officials through CURE India.
  • Share relevant updates and reports with the regional leadership team in Maharashtra.
  • Keep regular communication going with district teams so information flows on time.
  • Support the programme team in improving how enrollment and treatment tracking work overall.

Requirements

  • This position is open to everyone.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams spread across different districts.
  • Strong follow-up skills and the discipline to keep many cases moving at once.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and comfort with data management.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to keep records accurate.
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • A strong desire to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
  • Willingness to be based at the RBSK office in Pune, Maharashtra.
  • Previous experience with RBSK, ASHA or Anganwadi systems, healthcare programmes, NGOs or government programmes is an advantage.
  • Passion, commitment and a willingness to learn count as much as previous experience.

Benefits

  • Full-time role at the centre of a state-wide child health programme.
  • Direct daily contact with government health teams, district coordinators and frontline workers across Maharashtra.
  • Work that has a visible result: children who would have been lost in the system reaching treatment.
  • Exposure to how a large public health screening programme runs across 36 districts.
  • A team that values care and commitment as much as experience.
