Marpu Foundation is a youth-run non-governmental organisation in India, backed by presidential awardees of India and UN awardees. It works to help young people grow into global citizens who care about the world around them. The foundation encourages young minds to take on different social issues and to push forward sustainability through youth-led activities. This role sits within Marpu Foundation's field activities work, which plans and runs events that bring young people together around the foundation's mission.

Role

As a Field Activity Facilitator Intern, you will plan and run activities and events that make a real difference for participants and their communities. You will work closely with volunteers, participants and partners, guide a small team through each event, and help the foundation learn what works so every activity gets better. This is a part-time, one-month internship with flexible hours, open to freshers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run activities and events that fit the foundation's mission and values.
• Communicate clearly with participants, volunteers and partners so every activity runs smoothly.
• Lead and motivate team members through planning and on the day of each event.
• Manage resources and logistics so each activity or event succeeds.
• Deliver clear and engaging presentations to different audiences.
• Collect feedback from participants after each activity.
• Review the feedback and suggest ways to improve future events.
• Work with other team members to come up with new ideas that grow the impact of the foundation's programmes.

Requirements

• Available to work part time for one month.
• Able to start between 11 September and 16 October 2026.
• Based in or able to work from Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai or Bengaluru.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Clear communication with people from different backgrounds.
• Confidence giving presentations to groups.
• Ability to plan events and handle resources and logistics.
• Good coordination skills to keep volunteers and partners on the same page.
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate a team.
• Interest in community work and youth-led social change.

Benefits

• Monthly stipend of ₹2,500 to ₹6,000, made up of a fixed pay of ₹2,000 to ₹5,000 and an incentive of ₹500 to ₹1,000.
