Nimaya is a future-ready not-for-profit cofounded in 2021 by Navya Nanda and Samyak Chakrabarty, focused on preparing young women from socio-economic barriers for a world of work being rapidly reshaped by AI and emerging technologies. As GenAI transforms industries, workflows, and hiring expectations, Nimaya works at the intersection of employability and AI readiness to ensure Nimaya Naaris are not replaced by AI, but instead equipped to participate and lead in this new economy. In partnership with institutions such as the Government of India's Yuva AI Mission, Nimaya has enabled 10,000+ Naaris across 5 states to step into the new world of work through its flagship GenAI Ready Naari Program.

Role
As Field Manager, you will be the execution engine of Nimaya's GenAI Ready Naari Program in Guwahati, coordinating learner journeys, training interventions, stakeholder engagement, and placement support to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for every participant. This is not a traditional operations role it's built in partnership with Ashoka University's Centre for Social and Behaviour Change, aiming to move the needle for young women from underserved communities.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end program execution on the ground
- Manage learner engagement, onboarding, attendance, and progress tracking
- Coordinate with trainers, the internal team, and on-ground stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Maintain program data, documentation, and operational trackers
- Support coordination of placement activities and other program engagements
- Gather feedback, track outcomes, and contribute to impact reporting
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in program operations, field execution, or project management roles
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting
- Familiarity with handling compliance, documentation, and structured reporting systems
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in Assamese is a plus
- Comfortable with travel within Guwahati
- Based in Guwahati (mandatory)
- Proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and passion for empowering young women from restrictive circumstances
