KKF strengthens communities, organizations, leaders and systems through capacity building, innovation, partnerships, and sustainable development action. Based at the KKID Campus in Anaikatti, near Coimbatore, KKF runs training programs, action research projects, and knowledge and convening initiatives across India, with a strong focus on child rights, family well-being, and community resilience.

Role

The Head Partnerships will be a key member of KKF's Core Leadership Team, working closely with the Executive Director to grow institutional partnerships, visibility, and long-term sustainability. This role suits a relationship-driven leader who can work with corporates, donors, government bodies, academic institutions, media, and grassroots organizations. The role carries strategic and operational responsibility, requiring independent leadership and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Partnerships vertical, working closely with other business verticals at KKF
  • Build and mentor high performing teams while shaping a collaborative, mission driven culture
  • Drive resource mobilization by partnering with multiple types of donors
  • Lead partnerships, outreach, visibility, and impact strategies aligned with KKF's mission
  • Lead storytelling, strategic communication, and impact documentation for the organization
  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder collaborations, Indo-German engagements, and sector platforms
  • Develop and implement field projects aligned with emerging social and environmental priorities

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with more than 10 years of relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, marketing, or fundraising
  • A track record of raising resources or meeting sales targets
  • Good understanding of emerging social, environmental, and technological trends, including digital transformation and AI
  • Understanding of capacity building, social enterprises, or NGOs in India
  • Strong ability to work across departments and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken communication, networking, storytelling, branding, and fundraising skills
  • Candidates from the private sector with an interest in social and environmental impact are welcome to apply
  • Working knowledge of Tamil and familiarity with South Indian institutional contexts is a plus
