Drishtee Foundation works with rural communities in India to build stronger village economies and better livelihoods. It supports local entrepreneurs to start and grow small businesses, and helps families reach skills, markets and everyday services closer to home. The organisation works through several connected entities, with teams based both in the field and in offices. This role sits within Drishtee Foundation's HR team, which looks after hiring, staff data, performance and learning across the organisation.

Role

As HR Intern, you will spend six months working across the full range of people work at Drishtee Foundation. You will help keep staff data clean and reliable, turn it into dashboards that guide leadership, support clear goals for field and office roles, and help run learning sessions for staff. It is a hands-on role for someone who likes both numbers and people, and who enjoys a week that rarely looks the same.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with colleges and universities, and help present Drishtee Foundation as a good place to work.
• Clean and check data in the HR system (HRMS) and build employee master files so that staff records and numbers can be trusted.
• Turn attendance, payroll and headcount data into dashboards and clear findings that leadership can act on.
• Help set clear goals and measures (KRAs and KPIs) for field and office roles across the organisation's different entities.
• Develop learning modules and co-facilitate workshops for staff.
• Work alongside the HR team on live projects, taking on whatever each week needs.

Requirements

• Able to commit to the full six-month internship and to work from Nashik, Maharashtra.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and large sets of data, including cleaning and checking records.
• Able to build simple dashboards and explain what the numbers mean in plain words.
• Clear spoken and written communication, enough to help run workshops and speak with colleges.
• Careful and trustworthy with private information such as payroll and staff records.
