Teach For India
Teach For India is working towards an India free of poverty, by ending educational inequity in the country. Fifteen years in, it is a movement of over 5,000 alumni working across the education system, reaching 1 in 10 children in India. These alumni come from its two year Fellowship Programme, where Fellows teach in under-resourced classrooms. Over 16,000 Teach For India students have taken their 10th grade board exams so far, with a 95% pass rate across cities.
InnovatED
InnovatED is Teach For India's flagship incubator programme for passionate early-stage founders, run under Teach For India's incubation initiatives. If you have a tested idea, a working project or an early organisation, InnovatED helps you build it into a fully operational, successful and impactful one. So far, InnovatED has incubated 85 entrepreneurs and 74 organisations, reaching over 1.3 lakh children.
Role
InnovatED is looking for early-stage social entrepreneurs whose work is fundamentally shifting life outcomes for children from low income communities in India, to help them build their organisation into a stronger, more impactful one.
Requirements
- Your organisation works on a social impact model, whether not-for-profit, for-profit or hybrid
- You have completed at least one pilot
- Your work is fundamentally shifting life outcomes for children from low income communities in India
- You are formally registered, or committed to registering within the first three months of incubation
