ARPO works with communities across South India to document and share diverse cultures, heritage, and stories that often go unheard. Through documentaries, fellowships, festivals, camps, and collaborative projects, it creates spaces for communities to share their knowledge and stories with a wider audience.

Role

The Media Support Intern will help make ARPO's media archives searchable by working closely with interviews, transcripts, and metadata.

Responsibilities

• Listen through interviews
• Create transcripts and timestamps
• Write metadata and descriptions
• Organise media files

Requirements

• Open to students and recent graduates
• Good eye and ear for detail
• Interest in media documentation and archiving
