Mental Health Counsellor in Bengaluru | Azim Premji Foundation
Azim Premji Foundation
Azim Premji Foundation works to improve the health of families living in the urban settlements of Bengaluru, where good care is often hard to reach. Since 2022 the Foundation has run an integrated community health programme across five clusters in the city. Each cluster has a Health Centre staffed by doctors, nurses, a pharmacist and a lab technician, along with a team of Community Health Workers managed by a local not-for-profit partner. The Health Centres provide primary health services to nearby settlements, while the Community Health Workers carry health awareness, education, screening and follow-up into the community itself, and the team works alongside local public health systems so people get the services and benefits they are entitled to. This role sits within Azim Premji Foundation's urban health programme, which brings clinical care and community outreach together in one place.
