Madhya Pradesh NIPUN Professionals Program

The MP NIPUN Professionals Program places young professionals within district government structures across Madhya Pradesh to strengthen the implementation of NIPUN Bharat, a national mission launched in 2021 to ensure every child achieves foundational literacy and numeracy in the early years of schooling. In Madhya Pradesh, this vision is being carried out across nearly 80,000 government schools, reaching over 18 lakh students across 55 districts, with NIPUN Professionals working alongside state and district administration to strengthen implementation on the ground. The program has produced more than 50 alumni so far, many of whom have gone on to roles at organisations like CSF, NITI Aayog, and Antarang Foundation.

Role

As a NIPUN Professional, you become a key member of the district NIPUN team, working closely with government stakeholders to support planning, build capacity among academic mentors, and use data to improve foundational literacy and numeracy outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work as a core member of the district NIPUN team
• Support district-level planning and governance for the NIPUN mission
• Build the capacity of academic mentors
• Use data to guide outcome-oriented action
• Help keep foundational literacy and numeracy a district-wide priority
• Coordinate closely with government stakeholders at the district level

Requirements

• Indian citizen
• Under or exactly 29 years of age as of 15 August 2026
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in highest qualification
• At least 1 year of full-time relevant work experience, preferably with district-level government departments or program implementation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Leadership potential and alignment with the program's mission
