Quest Alliance

Quest Alliance works so that young people in India can find good work and build a life they choose. It builds learning programmes that help students and teachers in government institutions grow skills for real jobs, from communication and problem solving to digital and green skills. Much of this work happens inside Government Industrial Training Institutes, where Quest Alliance supports trainers, principals and students together. The aim is not a one-time workshop but institutes that keep running strong learning on their own. This role sits within Quest Alliance's Youth Program team, which delivers employability and career-readiness learning in government ITIs across the country.

Role

The Program Associate leads Quest Alliance's Youth Program work across Government ITIs in the Mangalore zone. You will be the main person the institutes know and trust, planning and running the programme on the ground, facilitating sessions with students, training and mentoring ITI trainers, and keeping strong relationships with principals, government officers and industry partners. You will also track how the programme is doing through data and reports, and use what you learn to make delivery better.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of Quest Alliance programmes across the assigned Government ITIs.
  • Build implementation plans, track progress, and make sure delivery is on time and of good quality.
  • Visit ITIs regularly for monitoring, hands-on support, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strengthen institute ownership so the work continues as part of how the ITI runs.
  • Support Principal Leadership Programs, Change Projects, Student Hubs, and placement drives.
  • Facilitate sessions on employability, life skills, career readiness, AI, green skills, and future skills.
  • Onboard facilitators and learners onto the MyQuest App and drive course completion targets.
  • Lead trainer development through training of trainers, workshops, orientations, and ongoing mentoring.
  • Run career-readiness activities such as resume building, mock interviews, guest lectures, exposure visits, on-the-job training, and placement support.
  • Promote gender inclusion and build learning spaces where every student is included.
  • Act as the main point of contact for institutes in the zone and coordinate with placement, training, data, technology, and documentation teams.
  • Keep accurate records, success stories and case studies, and prepare monthly and quarterly reports on progress, challenges, risks, and impact.
  • Keep learner, trainer, engagement, completion, and outcome data updated, support baseline and endline studies, and use the data to close gaps.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in programme implementation, skilling initiatives, or youth development.
  • Experience in the vocational training or government ecosystem is preferred.
  • Strong facilitation and training skills.
  • Ability to manage and liaise with government stakeholders.
  • Clear communication and negotiation skills.
  • Relationship building and networking abilities.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
  • Problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Understanding of the vocational education and skilling ecosystem.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office and digital platforms.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the zone and outside it when needed.

Benefits

  • Personal Accident Insurance covering up to ₹10,00,000 a year.
  • Mediclaim Insurance covering up to ₹3,00,000 a year, with extra wellness benefits through the insurance partner.
  • Reach for the Stars support of up to ₹5,000 for your own learning and knowledge building.
  • Internet allowance of up to ₹750 a month, reimbursed on actual usage, to support flexible and hybrid working.
  • Childcare or day care fee support of up to ₹3,000 a month as a matching contribution, for employees with children under 6 years.
  • Emotional health and wellbeing support, including group sessions worth ₹7,500 per session and one-to-one counselling worth ₹1,800 per session, both fully paid by the organisation.
  • Work on skilling and employability with government institutes, with room to grow into deeper programme and partnership work.
