Role
As the Program Coordinator, you will support the Associate Director in planning, coordinating and monitoring the Schools Programme across multiple states. The role focuses on programme operations, financial tracking, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and strengthening systems that enable large-scale programme delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate programme planning and implementation across multiple state teams.
- Track work plans, milestones and programme progress.
- Support programme reviews and monitor implementation quality.
- Prepare financial projections, budget tracking and variance reports.
- Coordinate with finance and programme teams on reporting requirements.
- Manage project management tools such as Jira and internal tracking systems.
- Prepare meeting notes, presentations, SOPs and operational documentation.
- Support donor reporting, documentation and programme evaluation processes.
- Coordinate communication deliverables, impact stories and programme visibility.
- Maintain documentation repositories and ensure timely submission of reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in programme coordination, operations or project management.
- Experience working in education or the development sector is preferred.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Notion, Asana, or Trello.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, financial tracking and reporting.
- Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience supporting large-scale or multi-state programmes is an advantage.
