  • Build and keep working relationships with community members, parents and school staff.
  • Meet the targets set for the programme, measured by outcome and impact.

  • Fluent in Tamil, both reading and writing.
  • Working knowledge of English.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Basic mobile literacy.
  • Good communication skills, strong enough to lead a training session.
  • A positive attitude towards working with low-income communities.
  • The temperament to work with school children as well as adults.
  • Comfortable working independently inside slum communities.
  • Willing to travel within the community as part of daily work.
  • Only candidates who are open to a field-based job should apply.
  • Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Benefits

  • Direct field experience in financial and digital literacy with an established Section 8 organisation.
  • Work that reaches women informal workers, young people aged 15 to 18, and their families.
  • Training and session delivery experience that builds facilitation and community mobilisation skills.
  • A place in a programme that runs across four states, with room to grow alongside it.
