Program Manager – Monitoring and Evaluation in Mumbai | Sol's ARC | ₹8.4-9.6 LPA
Sol's ARC
Sol's ARC is a registered NGO working so that every child learns and every adult earns. It does this through inclusive education and vocational skilling for persons with disabilities. For over 20 years it has worked with governments, donors and communities to change systems rather than run one-off projects, reaching more than 4 million people. Its work covers inclusive education, vocational skilling, and advocacy with government bodies at state and national level across four states. This role sits within Sol's ARC's Programs function, which drives data-informed decisions that strengthen the impact and credibility of the organisation's work.

Role
Sol's ARC is looking for a Program Manager who can build and run the systems that show what its programmes actually achieve. You will manage documentation, design data frameworks, and turn numbers and stories into insights leaders can act on. The work sits between the Program, M&E and Technology teams, keeping reporting accurate and on time for both the organisation and its donors. Roughly a third of the time goes to M&E systems and reporting, a third to data analysis and monitoring, and the rest to data collection and working with other teams.
Responsibilities
- Design M&E forms and tools, and keep every data collection system aligned with programme goals and reporting frameworks.
- Develop dashboards, MIS reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Work with the technology teams to build or connect tools that make data collection and management simpler.
- Prepare programme and donor reports backed by clear data, analysis and evidence of impact.
- Write regular programme briefs from surveys and assessments to support programme development and strategy.
- Support proposal development, and develop logframes and indicators.
- Track all programme activities, milestones and impact data.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative programme data to spot trends, gaps and chances to improve.
- Run data quality checks and validation, and monitor progress against programme indicators.
- Maintain organised records in a central repository so information is easy to find for team use and donor communication.
- Set data collection protocols that protect data integrity, accuracy and privacy, and coordinate with field teams on data needs and challenges.
- Build the capacity of programme teams to collect, manage and use data well, and represent Sol's ARC in donor reviews and external evaluations.
- Conduct field visits as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Data Science, Program Management or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in programme documentation, data collection and analysis.
- Experience in a nonprofit or development sector organisation is preferred.
- Proven ability to design and manage data collection processes across programmes running in several sites.
- Prior experience in monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting and cross-functional work is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of or experience with web-based or app-based programme monitoring systems is desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Looker is an added advantage.
- Experience with digital MIS or data management platforms is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data insights into practical programme recommendations.
- Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi. Marathi or another regional language is preferred.
- Willingness to travel across rural and urban India to support field teams and data collection.
- Comfort building data habits in field teams whose digital skills vary widely.
- Ability to explain complex data simply to community workers, government partners and international donors.
- Working hours are 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, based at the Mumbai head office. Start date is as soon as possible.
Benefits
- Monthly pay of ₹70,000 to ₹80,000.
- Be the evidence backbone of programmes reaching millions of children and adults with disabilities across four states.
- Shape how Sol's ARC grows, adapts and argues for systemic change, since your data drives those decisions.
- Build deep expertise in programme M&E, data management and development sector reporting.
- Work in an organisation that values transparency, equity and bold social impact.
