Established in 1995 to provide education to children in the slums of Mumbai, Pratham has grown in both scope and scale, with programs today reaching children and youth across the country. This role sits within the Business Intelligence function in Jaipur, supporting entrepreneurship training (ENT) cohorts as part of Pratham's livelihoods and skilling work.

Role

The Program Officer will mobilise and support cohorts of onboarded entrepreneurs (ENTs), guiding them through orientation, business planning, and compliance, while tracking their performance and progress. The role involves extensive fieldwork and regular reporting to ensure timely, high-quality implementation of assigned work plans.

Responsibilities

• Mobilise cohorts from the catchment area and counsel them appropriately
• Organise introduction and orientation sessions with all onboarded ENTs
• Conduct Business Plan sessions with all converted ENTs
• Schedule exposure activities like webinars, seminars, and workshops
• Hold regular meetings to assess work progress and highlight challenges and constraints
• Provide timely guidance and assistance to ENTs
• Help prepare required business compliances and documents
• Collect proper income evidence such as cashbooks and bank statements
• Evaluate ENTs' performance in delivering required outputs as planned
• Ensure implementation of assigned work plans as per given timelines
• Report daily to the senior manager of the project or program
• Update data regularly on Pratham's MIS systems

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Graduation
• 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field
• Willingness to travel extensively; two-wheeler preferred
• Target and deadline oriented
• Computer proficiency in MS Office (including Power Excel, Pivot & VLookup)
• Familiarity with Google & AI tools, Canva, basic photo & video editing, and ChatGPT
• Able to commit to the role for at least one year
• Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional languages
• Ability to work as a catalyst in team planning and organizing
• Strong situation handling, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Experience or interest in women's training and youth teaching
