Program Officer – Schools Program in Karnataka | Quest Alliance | ₹4.4 LPA
Quest Alliance
Quest Alliance works so that young people in India are ready for the world of work and for life. It builds learning programmes in schools and colleges, trains teachers and trainers, and creates open learning tools that others can use freely. Much of its work runs inside government school systems, so that changes reach the students who have the fewest options. The organisation focuses on self-learning, problem solving and 21st century skills for young people from low income families. This role sits within Quest Alliance's Schools Program, which works with government residential schools in Karnataka to bring hands-on learning and student-led innovation into classrooms.

The work is about being close to schools: mentoring master trainers and teachers, helping students run Ideathons and Hackathons, keeping district officials informed and engaged, and making sure the learning content actually reaches Class 8 to 10 students the way it was designed to.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong grasp of the Schools Program content, the Ideathon and Hackathon process, chatbot milestones and the learning outcomes expected for Class 8 to 10 students.
- Support master trainers and teachers in Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) schools to deliver the content well.
- Mentor master trainers and teachers as they plan and run Ideathon and Hackathon activities with students.

- Drive timely programme delivery through the master trainer cascade model, and coordinate with the Programme Coordinator and Learning Experience Officer to plan block and district level trainings.
- Attend and actively support in-person trainings at block and district level.
- Organise and co-facilitate school level Hackathons and district level share-out events where students and teachers show their work.
- Conduct school visits and regular calls to observe classroom engagement and give on-ground support, including bi-monthly catch-up calls with master trainers.
- Build working relationships with students, teachers, school heads, district government officials and DIET departments, and act as the main point of contact for assigned schools.
- Run Community of Practice and WhatsApp engagement plans to answer doubts and share reflections with master trainers and teachers.
- Maintain accurate records of trainings, visits, events, chatbot completion and milestone progress, and submit field reports within agreed timelines.
- Check dashboard data for accuracy, report chatbot and technical issues to the Ed-Tech team, and support baseline, endline and other assessments.
