Role
A field-based leadership role managing the Integrated Nutrition and Community Development Project in Moga, Punjab. The Project Manager will lead day-to-day implementation across health, nutrition, education, WASH, livelihoods, and governance components, working closely with government departments, community institutions, and field teams to deliver project goals on time.
Responsibilities
- Lead day to day implementation of project activities, including planning, scheduling, and resolving bottlenecks across teams
- Coordinate with district and block level government departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions, School Management Committees, and other stakeholders to strengthen convergence with government schemes
- Support donor visits, review meetings, and employee engagement activities
- Supervise, mentor, and build capacity of Health Educators, Cluster Coordinators, Community Mobilisers, and Community Counsellors through regular field visits and reviews
- Oversee project monitoring systems and ensure accurate, timely data collection, reporting, and documentation, including MIS dashboards, donor reports, case studies, and baseline or impact assessments
- Manage project budgets, expenditures, procurement, and financial documentation in line with donor and organizational guidelines
- Ensure programme quality standards are followed and support the Technical Project Lead in achieving project outcomes
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, public health, rural development, development studies, or a related field
- 7 to 10 years of experience managing community development, public health, or multi-sector development programmes
- Demonstrated experience in team management, government liaison, and donor-funded projects
- Fluency in Hindi and Punjabi; English is desirable
- Strong planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to solve problems, manage conflict, and build partnerships across teams and organizations
