Regional Coordinator in Andhra Pradesh (EAII Advisors) | Evidence Action
Evidence Action
Evidence Action delivers proven, low cost health programmes to people living in poverty, and measures the results at every step. The organisation works in 11 countries with a team of more than 900 people, and has reached over 500 million people by working closely with governments to take tested solutions to scale. Its Deworm the World programme has delivered more than 2 billion treatments, and its Safe Water Now programme has saved the lives of over 15,000 children. In India, this work is carried out through EAII Advisors Private Limited, which provides technical assistance to state governments on nutrition and school health. This role sits within EAII's Andhra Pradesh state team, which supports the government's Anemia Mukt Bharat initiative and the iron and folic acid supplementation programme for children and young people aged 6 months to 19 years across all 28 districts of the state.

Role
The Regional Coordinator provides technical assistance to strengthen the state's Anemia Mukt Bharat initiative in line with government guidelines. Reporting to the State Program Lead for Andhra Pradesh, you will represent Evidence Action's technical assistance at the district level and oversee programme activities across eight to nine districts, making sure iron and folic acid supplementation reaches children and young people smoothly and on time. The work is hands on and field based, built on close, trusting relationships with district administrators in Health, Education and ICDS.
Responsibilities

- Facilitate the rollout of the iron and folic acid training cascade at district and mandal levels, monitor training sessions, and orient staff from relevant departments on the benefits of supplementation.
- Plan and carry out communication activities with districts within available budgets, keeping the standard messages consistent.
- Conduct field visits to schools, Anganwadi centres and communities, observe trainings, and share findings with district officials so problems get corrected.
- Supervise and mentor District Program Facilitators in strengthening systems across the allotted districts.
- Ensure monthly reports and HMIS data are submitted on time by coordinating with district and mandal level officials, and share daily updates with the state team.
