This role is part of Sama, a NavGurukul initiative that bridges the digital divide by refurbishing and redistributing end-of-life laptops to underserved women and youth while reducing e-waste.

Role

NavGurukul is looking for a Strategy & Special Projects – CEO's Office to work on high-impact initiatives across operations, partnerships, technology, and organisational strategy for Sama. This remote-first role requires approximately 30% travel to partner locations, warehouses, and stakeholder meetings, and offers the opportunity to work closely with the CEO's Office on cross-functional projects that strengthen organisational systems and scale impact.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic projects led by the CEO's Office.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution.
• Conduct research, analyse problems, and recommend practical solutions.
• Build scalable processes, SOPs, and operational systems.
• Improve workflows across operations, partnerships, and logistics.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and decision-support materials.
• Analyse operational data and generate actionable insights.
• Coordinate meetings, action items, and stakeholder follow-ups.
• Support organisational planning and special projects.
• Explore AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and execution.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates or professionals with 0–2 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• High curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working across operations, technology, partnerships, and strategy.
• Interest in AI, automation, and operational excellence.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, spreadsheets, Notion, or similar tools.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
