Each year, Pratham reaches more than 6 million children and youth across 25 states and Union Territories through direct community programs and partnerships with state and district governments. Its work spans early learning, girls' and women's education, and youth skilling. Creativity Club Program is a tech-enabled learning model developed by Pratham's PraDigi Innovation Centre. It connects children aged 10 to 14 and youth above 14 with creative, hands-on learning opportunities. The program builds 21st-century skills like creativity, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration, and is run through youth volunteers and teachers in schools and communities.

Role

You will lead sessions at a Creator Lab, guiding children and youth through hands-on, creative projects across STEM, arts, and digital tools. You will manage day to day lab operations, track learner progress, and work closely with the team lead and content team to keep sessions engaging and on track.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run regular sessions and workshops in STEM, arts, digital tools, design, and creative problem-solving
  • Mentor children and youth on hands-on projects within the creative learning space
  • Help learners explore digital tools such as Adobe Express, OctoStudio, and similar platforms
  • Maintain the annual activity calendar in line with Creativity Club goals
  • Handle basic equipment setup, upkeep, and day-to-day lab operations
  • Track attendance and participation, and submit reports regularly
  • Document learner stories and project journeys for sharing and visibility
  • Maintain an inventory register for training and learning materials
  • Provide personalised support to motivated learners and encourage cross-subject exploration
  • Coordinate with local schools, community groups, and other stakeholders to bring in participants
  • Organise project showcases such as fairs, exhibitions, and community demos
  • Make good use of community and school spaces to build local ownership of the program

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline such as education, social sciences, science, or arts
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in training or facilitation, preferably with children or youth
  • Comfortable using technology and digital learning platforms
  • Strong presentation and teaching skills, both online and offline
  • Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi or Kannada
  • Energetic, patient, and able to connect well with young learners
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and handle day-to-day program operations
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel within the state
