  • Counsel parents and trainees about vocational skills at each stage of the project.
  • Enrol and screen trainees in line with the project targets.
  • Support students who have passed out as they start their jobs, and keep records of that support.
  • Maintain enrolment and centre records in the MIS and in files, and collate workplace engagement and compliance data.
  • Arrange guest lectures from industry and employers, and run virtual and offline donor and volunteer sessions.

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree or post-graduation in social science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience.
  • Prior experience of managing a skill building project.
  • Experience communicating with a wide range of external stakeholders, including government officials and representatives of civil society organisations and the public sector.
  • Ability to run a training centre on your own and handle daily operations.
  • Skill in counselling and mentoring young people and their families.
  • Comfort building and holding relationships with employers and placement partners.
  • Care with documentation, MIS entry and record keeping.
