The programme is designed to be accessible to people from different backgrounds and does not require any prior coding or technical experience.
Role
This is a 12 week online learning programme that helps young people, especially young women and girls, use artificial intelligence for advocacy, policy influence, and civic participation. Participants learn practical AI skills and apply them to a real world project by the end of the course.
Responsibilities
- Attend online sessions and complete around 4 hours of coursework per week
- Learn how AI can be used for advocacy, policy influence, and civic engagement
- Explore topics like algorithmic bias, digital rights, and information integrity
- Build a real world project such as an advocacy campaign, policy tool, or civic tech prototype
- Engage with a global network of young changemakers throughout the programme
Requirements
- Age between 18 and 30
- Interest in feminist advocacy, digital activism, AI, civic participation, or human rights
- No coding or technical background required
- Access to internet for online participation, low bandwidth options available
- Willingness to commit about 4 hours per week for 12 weeks
