About the Role
WWF-India is inviting applications for the position of Specialist - Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) in the Biodiversity Conservation Division. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in strengthening M&E frameworks, ensuring data-driven decision-making, and supporting various conservation projects.
Location: New Delhi
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen M&E procedures aligned with WWF-India’s framework.
- Conduct regular M&E activities using efficient, non-time-consuming tools.
- Monitor data inputs and analyse both quantitative and qualitative data for adaptive management.
- Develop monitoring and impact indicators to assess project success.
- Support landscape teams in compiling data on progress, outcomes, and impacts.
- Assist in preparing technical reports for WWF-India, donors, and partners.
- Coordinate the development of M&E frameworks for new concepts and proposals.
- Train landscape teams on new technologies and methodologies in M&E.
- Engage with donors and partners to ensure smooth programme execution.
- Contribute to financial analysis, including spending patterns and fund utilization, and provide inputs for budgeting new proposals.
- Undertake additional responsibilities related to biodiversity conservation as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc in Environmental Science or related fields from reputed institutions like TISS/IIFM.
- 3-5 years of experience in M&E or related fields.
Compensation
- Remuneration will be competitive with Indian NGO pay scales and will depend on the candidate’s experience and WWF-India’s salary structure.
- WWF-India does not provide housing, telephone, or vehicle facilities.
