About

Dream a Dream is a Bengaluru-based non-profit organisation founded in 1999 that is reimagining education for children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds. The organisation works to transform the purpose of education from simply improving academic outcomes to enabling every child to thrive in life. By embedding life skills, social-emotional learning, wellbeing, and learner agency into education systems, Dream a Dream equips children with the confidence, resilience, and skills needed to navigate adversity and an uncertain future.

Working closely with state governments, schools, educators, civil society organisations, and corporate partners, Dream a Dream influences education systems through curriculum innovation, teacher development, youth programmes, research, and policy advocacy. Rather than delivering stand-alone interventions, the organisation focuses on creating long-term systemic change so that every young person has the opportunity to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life.
