About
Uphold India is a non-profit working to uplift vulnerable communities in and around Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, under the tagline “Think Global Act Local.” It was founded by Anjuri Philip Timoti, who holds a BA and B.Th and completed leadership training at the Haggai Institute in Singapore. The organisation says it has more than 26 years of experience working with children, elders and people affected by leprosy and HIV/AIDS. Its mission is to train and build the capacity of local community leaders so they can meet their own communities’ needs and improve quality of life.
