Accounts Associate in Navi Mumbai | iTeach Schools | ₹3.36-4.2 LPA
iTeach Schools
The quality of school education open to students from low-income communities across India is very poor. Their chances of reaching college or building a career are far lower than those of their high-income peers, which leaves them with little voice and little choice. iTeach Schools was started in 2015 to change that and to build a level playing field for all children. It runs free, high-impact schools and a college-to-career programme for the most disadvantaged students in Pune and Navi Mumbai, and is known for its professional development, its result-oriented team culture and its student-centric school design. This role sits within iTeach Schools' accounts and finance function, which keeps the money records of every school and the central office accurate, compliant and ready for audit.

Role
The Accounts Associate works directly with the Accounts Manager and looks after the daily accounting, statutory compliance and payroll work of the organisation. As iTeach Schools grows into new geographies, the role is for someone who wants to build and run strong systems and processes, mixing tested best practice with ideas that fit the local context. The work involves both internal teams and outside partners such as banks, vendors and auditors.

- Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Tally) and advanced MS Excel.
- Practical knowledge of taxation (TDS), labor law compliance (PF, PT, ESIC), and audit preparation.
- Experience managing bank reconciliations, month-end/year-end closings, and payroll execution.
- High attention to detail for maintaining error-free compliance and audit-ready records.
- Willingness to travel for on-site school audits, bank visits, and vendor coordination.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Navi Mumbai.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation set against your education and work experience.
- Provident Fund and gratuity.
- Medical insurance of up to ₹3 lakh per year.
