It works with CSR clients, government departments, education authorities and local partners to bring these programmes to communities. Role
As Associate Manager, Programmes, you will make sure programmes are planned well, delivered on time and make a real difference on the ground. You will turn programme goals into working plans and lead field teams. You will keep clients, government partners and implementing organisations informed and involved, and use data to spot problems early and improve the work. The role includes a lot of travel to project sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery and monitoring of programmes across the areas assigned to you.
- Turn programme goals into clear plans with milestones, deliverables and timelines.
- Keep programmes on track with their goals, budgets and compliance standards, using MIS and dashboards to follow progress.
- Coordinate with client leadership and internal teams, and share reports, updates and reviews on time.
- Build strong working relationships with government departments, education authorities and implementation partners.
- Travel often to project sites for field checks, partner meetings, audits and stakeholder visits.
- Monitor the quality of field work across states and partners, set up field audits, and fix delays as soon as they appear.
- Lead, mentor and motivate regional coordinators, field trainers and community mobilisers, including performance reviews, team meetings and training sessions.
- Work with the data team to design monitoring tools and impact indicators, and use the data to flag risks and guide decisions.
- Prepare reports, presentations and briefs, and keep accurate records of activities, outcomes and spending.
- Identify risks early and plan how to reduce them, keeping all work within quality, safety and compliance standards.
- Share lessons from the field and success stories to improve programme strategy and support donor and communication work.
Requirements
- A postgraduate in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Education, Rural Development, or related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in programme management within CSR, NGOs, or government projects.
- Proven experience in managing large scale multi-state projects.
- Strong project management, budget management and operational planning skills.
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with high accountability.
- Willingness to travel across project locations.
Benefits
- Annual pay of ₹5.4 lakh to ₹6 lakh, based on relevant experience.
- Full-time contract until 31 March 2027, with the chance to become permanent based on performance.
- Hands-on experience leading programmes across several states with government, CSR and community partners.
