Role

As a Career Counsellor, you will conduct career awareness workshops, administer assessments and provide personalised career guidance to students across Punjab. This is a contractual, field-based role focused on helping students explore education, skill development, and career pathways after Class 10.

Responsibilities

• Conduct career awareness workshops for students.
• Administer career assessments to identify students' strengths and interests.
• Guide students on academic, vocational, and career pathways after Class 10.
• Provide personalised career counselling based on students' aspirations.
• Support career helpline operations by responding to student queries.
• Maintain accurate student records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Travel to schools and programme locations as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Psychology, Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in career counselling, teaching or related roles.
• Strong counselling and group facilitation skills.
• Prior teaching or classroom management experience.
• Teacher training experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Punjabi.
• Knowledge of career development theories and labour market trends is preferred.
• Certification in career counselling is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel as required.
