The CCP has been shown to reduce post-surgical cardiac complications by 71%, maternal complications by 12%, newborn complications by 16%, and newborn mortality by 18%. Role

This is a senior leadership role that will define and own Noora Health's technology strategy as the organisation moves toward a more catalytic era of growth. You will lead a growing engineering team, own the architecture for a platform built to reach 100 million caregivers, shape responsible AI practices in high-stakes health contexts, and represent Noora Health in technical conversations with governments, funders, and global health partners.

Responsibilities

Define and own the platform architecture to reach 100 million caregivers, built to work across low-connectivity environments and interoperable with government health systems
Partner with product leadership to translate product strategy into scalable, secure, and high-quality technical systems
Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team of currently around 14 engineers, fostering a culture of quality, speed, and technical rigour
Own Noora Health's approach to responsible AI as a technical and ethical discipline, ensuring model behaviour is predictable, auditable, and safe in high-stakes health contexts
Own technical governance across Noora Health's digital health products and technology systems
Partner with legal, product, and country teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks across countries
Represent Noora Health in technical conversations with government stakeholders, funders, technology partners, and global health collaborators
Communicate technology vision clearly to all stakeholders including team members, funders, and partners
Help establish Noora Health as a destination for engineers who want their work to create real-world impact

Requirements

Significant experience leading engineering teams and owning technical strategy for scaled products or platforms
Strong judgement across scalable system design, architecture, AI and ML integration, and security
Proven experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams
Practical experience with AI-enabled products, conversational platforms, health technology, or large-scale user-facing platforms
Familiarity with privacy, security, data governance, and responsible technology practices in sensitive or regulated environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences
Prior experience in healthcare technology, public health, or global health is preferred
Experience integrating technology with government systems is a strong advantage
Experience deploying AI, ML, or LLM-enabled systems in sensitive or high-stakes contexts
Familiarity with conversational platforms, WhatsApp-based systems, RAG systems, or health workflow tools
Experience working in low and middle-income country contexts
Familiarity with healthcare privacy regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, or India's DPDP Act
