Role

The Clinical Psychologist will be part of the Mobile Community Outreach Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities project, delivering psychological assessments, counselling, rehabilitation, and community-based mental health services through a mobile outreach model. The role involves working closely with children and adults with disabilities while supporting early intervention, awareness, and community inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and behavioural assessments.
• Provide individual counselling and psychological intervention.
• Deliver guidance and counselling services for persons with disabilities and their families.
• Conduct home visits and follow-up support.
• Perform mental health screening and behavioural management.
• Organise screening and identification camps within communities.
• Conduct community awareness programmes and sensitisation workshops.
• Establish community support groups.
• Maintain case records, reports, and programme documentation.
• Support other project activities as assigned.

Requirements

• M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or Rehabilitation Psychology, or Master's in Psychology with a PG Diploma in Clinical/Rehabilitation Psychology.
• Valid RCI Registration is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working with children and adults with disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation.
• Excellent counselling, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel for field visits and community outreach.
